The Clear Creek High Water Challenge

Guess the day, time and rate for the Clear Creek Peak Flow

The Clear Creek Greenway Authority invites you to guess the time and day of the highest peak flow rate of Clear Creek for 2019.  As snow melts, the creek waters rise as more and more water enters the creek on its way down from the mountains.  Peak flow typically occurs in June, depending on the year. One guess is $5, three guesses is $10. Guesses can be submitted online or by buying guesses when we are at local stores selling them.  Guesses will be open for submission until June 1.  The winner will be contacted by phone or email.  Prizes will be awarded at a super fun time and place TBD.

Peak Flow Rate is based on the USGS Gauge in Lawson. Highest Peak Flow Rate is the earliest moment in the year when the flow rate stops increasing and starts decreasing.

1st Prize is $500

2nd Prize is $300

3rd Prize is $100

In the event of a tie, the winnings will be split between the two winners; a tie for 1st Place will mean the two winners split the 1st and 2nd prizes. You must guess the day, hour, minute and second. By submitting a guess you agree to these rules.
