Clear Creek Greenway: Georgetown to Silver Plume Restoration

The Clear Creek Greenway Georgetown to Silver Plume trail is one of the most heavily used sections of trail in Clear Creek County.  Completed in 19____ it is comprised of a 6' wide asphalt trail that runs ____ lineal feet from the Georgetown Loop Railroad Parking lot in Georgetown to I-70 Exit 226 in Silver Plume.  The trail is widely known for it's scenic vistas over Clear Creek as well as it's close proximity to I-70.

Over the last ___ years, the trail has begun to degrade creating unsafe conditions for some users of the trail.  In August 2016, Clear Creek County and the Colorado Department of Transportation partnered to explore options to restore this section of trail.
