The Clear Creek County Greenway Authority (CCGA) is a community initiative in Clear Creek County.

Imagine a trail linking the Platte River Greenway in Denver to the Continental Divide, giving hikers and bikers access to hundreds of miles of backcountry Forest Service trails and to four Clear Creek County fourteeners, with nearly unlimited opportunities for fishing, kayaking, rock climbing, hiking and bicycling.
— Tim Mauck, Clear Creek County Commissioner

Our Mission

The mission of the Clear Creek Greenway Authority is to ensure the design, construction and full enjoyment of a Clear Creek Greenway Trail across Clear Creek County.

OUR VISION

The CCGA envisions a multi-use, accessible, continuous paved recreational trail along Clear Creek, spanning the county from east to west, that is an innovative shared outdoor space, that attracts visitors from around the state and the world, that provides new ways for the community to be outdoors together and that spurs economic development through the creation of impactful programs, new businesses and recreational opportunities across the county.
